Wake County looks at big renovation package Proposal to upgrade 13 campuses would cost $350 million

Wake County (N.C.) school administrators have unveiled a list of potential renovation projects for a future school construction bond issue. Proposed renovations at the 13 schools with the greatest needs have an estimated price tag of $350 million. Most renovations would involve replacing older buildings, renovating older classrooms and expanding the number of students that can be accommodated without using classroom trailers.
