Wake County (N.C.) school board criticized for plans to end diversity policy

From The Raleigh News & Observer: Many Wake County, N.C., residents are loudly criticizing the school board's efforts to end a longstanding diversity policy. In front of a rowdy crowd of several hundred at Southeast Raleigh High School, school board members heard from residents who chastised board members for their plans to switch to a neighborhood school system instead of assigning students based on socioeconomic diversity.
