Wake County looks at cutting construction costs

To save money, Wake County (N.C.) schools might have to cut programs and services that parents and students now take for granted, according to a report from a committee looking to cut school construction costs. The recommendations for new schools include reducing the number of parking spaces, eliminating certain sports, and limiting renovations to older schools. Wake County residents whether they want to pay to for these services when billions of dollars will be needed in the coming years just to keep up with growth.
