Poor economy means constrution delays

With an unfavorable market for selling bonds, theWake County (N.C.) school district is deciding which construction projects it can put on hold. Because of problems selling bonds, Wake commissioners have agreed to postpone $154 million in building projects, and most of those involve schools. Administrators will explain to the school board today which new schools and renovations can be put on hold. To read The Raleigh News & Observer article, click here.
