Washington, D.C., may bring in L.A.-based charter operator

From The Washington Post: Washington, D.C., Schools Chancellor Michelle A. Rhee is talking to a Los Angeles charter school operator about running at least one of the city's low-achieving high schools. Rhee has met with Steve Barr, founder and chairman of Green Dot Public Schools, which operates 17 small charter schools in Los Angeles and one in the Bronx, N.Y.
