Washington, D.C., fires contractor that was to build school system database

From The Washington Post: Washington, D.C., has fired the contractor it hired to build a $12 million data repository for critical information about schools. Officials assert that Williams, Adley & Co., an accounting and management consulting firm, missed deadlines, provided defective software and failed to make available the personnel it promised.
