A month after a Washington Township, Ind., school bus hit and killed a 10-year-old boy, administrators will change the traffic pattern at Spring Mill Elementary School. Buses will drop off and pick up students in a parking area that will be off-limits to other vehicles at the school. Christopher Beltz, 10, died on the morning of Feb. 6 after running through a line of parked cars and into the path of a bus in a lot north of the school. Another bus had dropped off the fourth-grader in the middle of the lot rather than along a sidewalk that buses ordinarily use.
