Detroit university wants to attract more accomplished faculty and students.

In continuing attempts to improve its standing and reputation, Wayne State University in Detroit has launched a strategic plan that aims to establish it as a world-class research university with up to 40,000 students. The plan stresses ways to attract more accomplished faculty and students, increase the graduation rate and build a stronger campus community for the 33,000-student institution.
