Wayne State University opens new engineering facility

From The Detroit Free Press: Wayne State University in Detroit has opened the new, $28-million Marvin I. Danto Engineering Development Center. The building's three stories and 82,500 square feet of space add to the existing two engineering buildings and will primarily house new labs and meeting space for researchers and students. The building was paid for in part by $15 million from the state and a $3-million gift from Troy, Mich., businessman and philanthropist Marvin Danto.
