Garland (Texas) works to repair middle school damaged by fire

From The Dallas Morning News: A fire earlier this month at Webb Middle School in Garland, Texas, has left extensive damage, and it will be Jan. 4 before the campus is ready to reopen to its 1,000 students in grades 6 to 8. Principal Jim Lewis says a crew of 150 is working on the school seven days a week. When they return, sixth-graders will be housed in portable buildings.
