Ouster of Jorea Marple was unexpected

From The Charleston Daily Mail: In an unexpected decision, the West Virginia Board of Education has voted to fire state Superintendent Jorea Marple. No reason was given. Marple had served as superintendent of schools since March 2011. The board appointed deputy superintendent Chuck Heinlein as acting superintendent.
