West Virginia district gets $2 million from state for middle school addition

Oct 1, 2009 12:51 PM

From The Charleston Daily Mail: The West Virginia School Building Authority has granted Kanawha County Schools $2 million to build an addition onto Sissonville Middle School. The county will spend $750,000 of its own money on the project. The Sissonville Middle addition would house fifth-graders from Bonham, Flinn and Sissonville Elementary schools, if the Kanawha County school board decides to close Bonham Elementary. The board hasn't yet made a decision on whether or not to close Bonham.
