New elementary opens in Toledo

TheToledo (Ohio) district has built a new Westfield Elementary School. The $6 million, 44,363-square-foot buillding will serve 350 students in grades K to 5. The school has a 25-seat computer lab, smartboards, and overhead projectors and four student computers in each classroom. Building materials and detailing help the it fit comfortably with the homes in the neighborhood. The architect is The Collaborative. To read La Prensa article, click here.
