Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Mich., says more than 170 students report being sick

From The Detroit Free Press: Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Mich., has postponed its commencement, which was scheduled for this weekend, after more than 170 students on campus reported feeling ill. Officials at the school, about 90 miles west of Detroit, say students report symptoms that match up with norovirus. Symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting and stomach pain. It's spread through contaminated water or food. Spring commencement was to be held on Saturday. It has been delayed one week to May 21. The university has canceled all non-academic events until Sunday, and the fitness room, pool and other fitness facilities on campus also are closed to the public until Sunday.
