Widow of Dr. Seuss donates $2 million to UC San Diego

Money will be used to renovate residence of school’s chancellor

From The Los Angeles Times: Audrey Geisel, widow of Dr. Seuss author Theodor Geisel, has donated $2 million to University of California, San Diego, to help in the renovation project for University House, the private residence of the UC San Diego chancellor. Geisel, a resident of La Jolla, has had a long relationship with the campus, donating more than 8,000 of her late husband's original drawings, sketches, books and other memorabilia.
