Wiscasset, Maine, is planning to renovate and upgrade two facilities. The project would
convert the existing primary school so it can accommodate kindergarten
through 6th grade, and renovate the high school to house grades seven
through 12. Costs of overhauling the wo
schools could total $15.6 million. If the town wants an upgraded
science lab at the high school, the cost
could be an additional $400,000. A stage and rooms for band, chorus,
and tech ed added to the new auditorium could be another $1.2 million.
