A $26.9 million bond referendum proposed by the Woodstown-Pilesgrove (N.J.) Regional School District to pay for a new middle school has been rejected by voters. This was the second time in recent months that the district had sought approval from residents in Woodstown Borough and Pilesgrove Township for a new middle school. In December the measure failed by 122 votes. The measure was defeated by a much larger margin this time around.
