Woonsocket (R.I.) schools will stay open

City doesn't know where money will come from, but it rejects proposal to close schools in April

From The Providence Journal: Although the Woonsocket (R.I.) School Committee doesn't know where the money will come from to keep schools open, it has voted against a motion that would have closed schools on April 5.

Earlier....from The Providence Journal: Woonsocket (R.I.) School committee chairwoman Anita McGuire Forcier says that if the state does not speed up the city's June aid payment to March the schools may have to close on April 5 for lack of money.
