Work begins on student housing development at University of Maryland

Construction will add living space for 669 undergraduates

From The Baltimore Sun: Workers have broken ground for Starview Plaza, a $33 million student housing project in College Park, Md., for University of Maryland students. When complete in August 2011, the project will contain 172 residences providing housing for 669 undergraduate students, 9,500 square feet of retail space, 7,000 square feet for student amenities and a 10,000-square-foot green roof.
