From LoHud.com: Work is expected to begin in 2012 on the Yonkers (N.Y.) school district’s $1.7 billion plan to rehabilitate nearly all of its aging buildings. The school board has approved a 15-year plan that calls for replacing three existing schools, building two new ones and making additions and alterations to 23 others.
