Zachary (La.) district will seek $40 million bond vote

District wants to build facility for grades 1 and 2

From The Baton Rouge Advocate: The Zachary (La.) Community School Board has scheduled a $40 million school bond election for Nov. 2. The funds would enable the district to begin construction on a new elementary school for first-graders and second-graders. Northwestern Elementary School would be renovated to serve as a kindergarten center, and Zachary Elementary would get 30 new classrooms and other improvements to house grades three and four.
