Massachusetts private school plans green arts and science building

The Cambridge School of Weston (Mass.) is finishing up construction of a sustainably designed facility for science and art programs. The 22,000-square-foot Garthwaite Center for Science and Art has features such as advanced heating and energy recovery, ecologically friendly water and waste management, and solar power. The durable and low-maintenance materials used in the construction will reduce the energy and materials costs for repairs.
