Students in Michigan build solar house on campus

Students at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Mich., has built a solar-powered house on a campus parking lot. The house has nearly 700 square feet of living space and will generate energy from the sun for heating, cooling, lighting and appliances. The house will be one of 20 to compete next month in the Solar Decathlon in Washington, D.C.
