Canyon Ridge High School, which will be the newest high school in the Twin Falls (Idaho) district, will be built with an emphasis on conserving water and energy. Although the district will not seek LEED certification, officials say the building is likely to meet the requirements. A sprinkler system with above-ground and in-ground sensors will monitor moisture, wind and temperature in order to determine when water is needed.
