ALAN S. BIGGER, DIRECTOR OF BUILDING SERVICES
UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME, NOTRE DAME, INDIANA

A native of Dublin, Ireland, Alan has been the director of building services at the University of Notre Dame for more than 10 years. He manages nearly 300 custodians, the campus pest-control program, a large warehouse operation, and the recycling and solid-waste programs on campus. Alan holds degrees from the State University of New York and the University of Northern Colorado. He is active in several professional organizations, including the ACUBSS and IEHA, and he is president of the Midwest Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers (MAPPA), a seven-state regional organization affiliated with APPA. He has published more than 195 articles in trade journals, co-authored two books and spoken at conferences throughout the United States.

DAVID M. HILL, AICP, REFP
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES AND OPERATIONS BLUE VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT, OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS

Dave is the executive director of facilities and operations for the Blue Valley School District, Overland Park, Kan., where he is responsible for coordinating facilities planning, construction management, land acquisition, site selection, demographics and enrollment forecasting. Blue Valley, which has 18,000 students, has grown by more than 800 students per year for each of the last 12 years. During that time, Dave's team has managed three major bond issues totaling $350 million, and overseen the construction of 10 elementary schools, six middle schools, two high schools and additions, and additions/renovations to 12 existing facilities. He is president of the Midwest/Great Lakes region of the Council of Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI).

KEVIN M. GREISCHAR, PRINCIPAL
GREISCHAR DUNGAN ARCHITECTS, OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS

As principal, Kevin is responsible for the overall quality and service of every project provided to clients at Greischar Dungan Architects. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University, Manhattan, and has since worked in various firms such as Black & Veatch Architects, Inc., Linscott Haylett Wimmer and Wheat PC, and Woods & Starr & Associates. He has been involved in the design of several elementary schools, middle schools and community colleges. Kevin has received the AIA Kansas Design Award, the Kansas Preservation Alliance Design Award, and the Association of College and University Housing Officers Design Award.
