Officials received a glimpse at the proposed site plan and sketches for the red brick apartments that would be the first new student housing at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis since townhouses were built in 1981. Within a few years, more than 1,200 students from Indiana and Purdue universities won't have to flee the Indianapolis and Fort Wayne campuses every night after classes.
