Do colleges rely too heavily on adjunct professors?

As Ohio's dependence on part-time professors grows, so do concerns that something greater than slide projectors is getting lost in the shuffle. Adjuncts—dubbed "roads scholars"—contend that they have too little time for students. They earn less pay, lack benefits and often teach at multiple schools to make ends meet.
