In higher education, the largest enrollment for fall 2015 was at the University of Phoenix, according to U.S. Department of Education data. The online institution has the largest postsecondary enrollment for several years, although the numbers have decreased in recent years as the for-profit higher-education industry has drawn more scrutiny.
