    Illinois gives $25 million to support school safety projects

    Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn announced grant awards totaling $25 million to local Illinois schools and institutions of higher learning through the Illinois Emergency Management Agency's Illinois School and Campus Safety Grant Program.
