Largest endowments at colleges and universities, fiscal 2012

Harvard University tops the list of endowments as compiled by the National Association of College and University Business Officers.

The 2012 NACUBO-Commonfund Study of Endowments shows the higher-education institutions whose endowments have the largest market value. NACUBO says the results are based on 831 U.S. college and university endowments and affiliated foundations, representing more than $406 billion in endowment assets.
