As news of the horror that gripped Virginia Tech University unfolded, college students across Michigan expressed fears that the same events could be played out on their own campuses. Law enforcement officials at colleges here offered little comfort, saying there's no way to prevent someone from walking into a classroom with a gun and opening fire.
