With a focus on learning styles and performance-based design, he contributes regularly to national publications, and speaks about educational topics on local, regional and national levels.

Brian Minnich, AIA, LEED AP

Project Manager, Rubeling & Associates, Inc., Baltimore, Md.

Brian’s career has concentrated on the planning and design of K-12 education structures and spaces since achieving several top honors and Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design degrees from North Dakota State University in 1998.

Licensed in the states of Washington and Maryland, his public, independent and charter school facilities experience spans the northwest and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. In addition to organizing and managing the firm’s in-house credit classes, including the Rubeling EDU information-access program for education clients, Brian also volunteers for the AIA Committee on Architecture for Education (CAE) subcommittee focusing on pre-K to grade 12.

Brian believes a successful project "reaches a balance of all design considerations through complement rather than compromise."
