From the 2021 Educational Interiors Showcase: AMP Lab @WMU

The Grand Rapids facility received the Collegiate Citation as the top higher education design in American School & University's 2021 Educational Interiors Showcase.

The Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (AMP) Lab @ WMU occupies the first two stories of Western Michigan University’s downtown Grand Rapids location. Visibility into the building, and throughout it, was a key design driver. Wherever possible, glass curtain walls or glass partitions were used. This enables students and visitors to see the innovation and learning taking place throughout the space. The flexible classroom area and furniture give instructors and students options and helps make the space functional for a variety of disciplines
