From the 2021 Educational Interiors Showcase: San Marcos CISD, Rodriguez Elementary School

Rodriguez Elementary School received a Silver Citation in American School & University's Educational Interiors Showcase for its noteworthy design in the classrooms category.

The San Marcos CISD, Rodriguez Elementary School in San Marcos, Texas, was designed to empower teacher collaboration to improve literacy in a majority English Language Learner community. Students have fingertip access to literacy learning because all classrooms wrap around small group learning rooms with high-acoustical environments that foster the sound recognition necessary for language development.
