From the 2021 Educational Interiors Showcase: Santa Ynez Valley Union High School Multipurpose Room Modernization and Addition

Santa Ynez Valley Union High School was recognized in the multipurpose rooms category in American School & University's Educational Interiors Showcase.
The architectural strategy was to enhance Santa Ynez Valley High School’s Mission-style detailing. An old stage was removed to enlarge the dining space; new lighting fixtures highlight the refurbished wooden beamed ceiling; large format porcelain tiles reference the nearby mission; and newly installed beadboard wall panels result in a modernized, historically sensitive space.
