Union Parish Middle & High School in Farmerville, La., displays a Greek revival architectural language that is intended to convey a purpose of higher education and standards to students. The facility provides over 60 classrooms, three science labs, three business education classrooms, an art classroom, and three computer labs on a two-story learning house concept for a planned student capacity of 1,200 students. The campus also has a 5,000-square-foot media center, a main event gymnasium that seats 1,500 spectators, a secondary gymnatorium with elevated stage, and a band and choir hall. The athletic facilities have conference rooms, coach and physical education instructor offices and lockers, physical therapy space, a weight room, and locker and shower areas for up to 300 students.
