From the 2022 Architectural Portfolio: La Veta PK-12 School

The new La Veta PK-12 School in La Veta, Colo., was born from the district's desire to unify its campuses within a singular modern learning environment. Spill-out spaces ensure access to the outdoors, and daylight-filled classrooms and corridors, age-appropriate and technology-rich media center and shared community spaces all contribute at various scales for different types of learners. The district’s focus on authentic student and community engagement has resulted in an efficient, flexible and sustainable facility.
