The New Hall at Columbia College in Columbia, Mo., provides modern living and learning spaces to support the growing needs of the college. The building has classrooms, an event center, conference rooms associated with the business school, and 76 residential suites on the three upper floors that provide living areas for up to 150 students. The new facility reflects an effort to enhance the student experience and improve a less developed section of campus. The New Hall acts as a new gateway from adjacent parking and provides a second point of entry to the college. The college's first new residential rooms in over 50 years are on the building’s upper levels and feature double-room suites connected by bathrooms, community kitchens and lounges. An outdoor terrace provides gathering and collaboration spaces for students.
