Following a feasibility study at York Technical College in Rock Hill, South Carolina, the design team planned a renovation and expansion of the Anne Springs Close Library. The project transformed the library into a state-of-the-art Learning Commons. It has become the campus centerpiece and cultural core of the college. In addition to the traditional library functions, it has a grab-and-go cafe, classrooms, offices, meeting rooms and makerspaces, as well as additional storage and stacks.
