The project was recognized as an outstanding design in the Student Centers/Service Areas category.
The expansions and renovations of the Jernigan Student Center at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, rejuvenate a structure in the heart of campus. The building now contains the university’s spirit store, a high-end expanded kitchen, a dining room seating over 450, a cafe and marketplace, a new office suite housing student government and diversity council programs, and flexible student lounge spaces. Improvements to the president’s dining room, expanded restrooms, new lighting and furniture re-energize the building as the center for student experience.
