Midwestern State University's Centennial Hall in Wichita Falls, Texas, has consolidated the university’s School of Nursing, Simulation Center, Radiologic Sciences, Respiratory Care, Dental Hygiene, and Social Work departments. The facility has a variety of active learning classrooms, distance learning, skills labs, university clinics, cross-discipline learning, augmented reality, and high-fidelity simulation suites. The building has a three-story atrium from which interprofessional simulation suites and dynamic skills labs are visible. The design embodies the idea of “Science On Display” with a goal of visually celebrating medical pedagogy in action.
