Salary cap for New Jersey school superintendents draws criticism

Head of school administrators’ association says pay limits will lead to massive turnover

From The Asbury Park Press: A New Jersey Association of School Administrators official says that that Gov. Chris Christie's proposed salary cap for school superintendents is both bad policy and a violation of state law. Association Executive Director Richard G. Bozza — a former Montville schools superintendent — says the proposed cap would lead to massive turnover and discourage prospective administrators from seeking the top jobs.
