From The Kansas City Star: The Kansas City (Mo.) school board has approved the sale of four closed campuses to developers. The buyers of the land that included West High School, Switzer Elementary and Switzer Annex want to create rental units; developers bought the Bingham Middle School site to build a grocery store; Blenheim Elementary would be developed as a mixed-used site; and Swinney Elementary would become medical office suites with some community space. The district still has more than 20 closed school sites for sale.
