From The Morris Sun-Tribune: Liane Claassen, former business manager for the Chokio-Alberta (Minn.) school district, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for stealing about $300,000 from the district. Claasen also must pay more than $263,000 in restitution. She pleaded guilty last year to wire fraud and admitted that from July 1999 to August 2010, she used the school district’s computer to pay herself more money than her salary allowed.
