Augusta (Kan.) district passes $48 million bond

Facilities have not been upgraded since 1992 bond issue

Augusta (Kan.) School District voters have approved a $48 million bond issue to improve facilities. The bonds will pay for new buildings at Garfield and Lincoln elementary school sites, additions at Robinson and Ewalt elementary schools, a refurbished high school gym, restrooms at the south end of the football stadium and a second gym at the middle school.To read The Augusta Daily Gazette article, click here.
