From The Dallas Morning News: In a worst-case budget scenario, the Dallas school district would have to fire nearly 4,000 employees, hike class sizes and discontinue numerous programs. Superintendent Michael Hinojosa has released a plan that would reduce the district’s budget by nearly $250 million. With a pending loss of state funding, Dallas is one of many systems considering drastic moves to slash their budgets.
