Midland (Texas) district converts elementary to fine arts magnet

Bowie campus will begin new focus in the fall
TheMidland (Texas) Independent School District is converting one of its elementary schools to a fine arts magnet. To transform Bowie Elementary for its new education focus, the district is spending $3.6 million on renovations. The school will house 500 students and include a dance studio, choir room, art room with a kiln, theater arts with a small black-box theater and a piano lab.
