St. Leo University in Florida opens amenity-laden residence hall
From The Tampa Tribune: St. Leo University in St. Leo, Fla., has opened a residence hall this semester that includes common areas with a 2,100-gallon aquarium, a relaxation room with spherical nap pods, four big-screen televisions, a fitness room with treadmills and other equipment, and a game room with pool tables and other games. The new 135,000-square-foot complex actually is two buildings that share a lighted courtyard and can provide suite-style housing to more than 300 students. One of the buildings, housing 157 students, opened for use last month. The other won't be ready for students until next fall.
