Geothermal system is part of new elementary building in Cobb County (Ga.) district

System added about $585,000 to the $15 million construction project

From The Atlanta Journal-Constitution: A new elementary school has carried the Cobb County (Ga.) district into the forefront of the “green” building movement. The East Side Elementary School in Marietta is powered by a geothermal system that uses the Earth’s constant temperature to condition the air. The system added $585,000 to the $15 million construction project.
