Connecticut officials have sued the former leaders of a Hamden charter school, alleging that they siphoned more than $210,000 in state and charitable money away from the school to buy things like Armani suits and silk pajamas. Accused in the lawsuit were Lyndon Pitter, the founder and former executive director of Highville Mustard Seed Charter School; his ex-wife, Nadine Pitter; and former board of directors Chairwoman Fatima Ennis.
